Delicious smoked BBQ beef tacos with tender, flavorful meat and a unique blend of spices and sauces.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs well marbled chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup sbrbbq Kickin’ Barbecue Hot Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic blend
  • 2 tablespoons favorite BBQ rub
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup cherry cola
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce
  • Taco shells
  • Toppings (e.g., onion, cilantro, lime)

Instructions

  1. Cube the chuck roast into 1/6 pieces.
  2. Use sbrbbq Kickin’ Barbecue Hot Sauce as a binder, then season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic blend, and your favorite BBQ rub.
  3. Place the seasoned beef in the smoker at 275°F for 180 minutes.
  4. Once the bark is set, remove the beef and place it in a foil pan with butter, cherry cola, and Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce.
  5. Cover tightly with foil and return to the smoker for an additional 60-120 minutes or until tender.
  6. Shred the beef and serve in taco shells with desired toppings.

Notes

Warm up taco shells before serving and offer extra BBQ sauce on the side for those who prefer it saucy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
