- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into heart shapes.
- Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each heart.
- Top with sliced strawberries.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling slightly.
- Brush the edges with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
