Ingredients
- French fries (cooked until crispy)
- Cheese curds
- Poached eggs
- Hollandaise sauce (made from butter, egg yolks, lemon juice, and salt)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the French fries according to package instructions until crispy.
- Place the hot fries on a serving plate and top with cheese curds.
- Poach eggs and place them on top of the fries and cheese curds.
- In a small saucepan, combine egg yolks and lemon juice. Whisk over low heat, gradually adding melted butter until the sauce thickens. Season with salt.
- Pour the creamy Hollandaise sauce over the poached eggs.
- Garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use high-quality cheese curds for a great melting experience. Keep fries hot in the oven while preparing the rest of the dish.
