Instructions

- Gradually stir in the pre-cooked cornmeal until evenly mixed.
- Knead the dough until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes to ensure proper texture.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into discs.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
- Cook each arepa for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, slice each arepa open and fill with your desired fillings.
