Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Grate the yellow squash and place it in a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out excess moisture.
- Combine the drained squash, cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small tots and place them on a baking sheet or directly in the frying pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Mix the yogurt, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl for the garlic yogurt dip.
- Serve the yellow squash tots warm with the garlic yogurt dip.
