Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) if you choose to bake the potato sticks.
  2. Slice the peeled potatoes into thin, uniform sticks.
  3. Combine the potato sticks, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, tossing until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the coated potato sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a frying basket.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C) if frying. Fry potato sticks in batches until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking, if using the oven.
  7. Drain the potato sticks on paper towels once cooked.

Notes

Soaking potato sticks in cold water for 30 minutes can enhance crispiness.
